Terms of Service

The agreement that governs your use of Scrub Love Cleaning Co. website, services, and communications (including SMS).

Effective Date: December 10, 2025

1) Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to Scrub Love Cleaning Co. (“Scrub Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, requesting a quote, booking a service, or interacting with our communications (including SMS), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2) Services & Scope of Work

Scrub Love provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to:

Standard & deep cleaning

Move-in / move-out cleaning

Post-construction cleaning

Office & commercial janitorial services

Add-on services (interior windows, appliances, baseboards, etc.)

Scope & Estimates

All services, tasks, and pricing are defined in your estimate, proposal, booking confirmation, or signed agreement.

Pricing is based on the information provided at the time of quoting (property size, condition, service type).

Additional services requested outside the original scope may require a revised estimate and additional fees.

3) Scheduling, Access & Safety

Property Access

You agree to provide safe, timely access to the property, including entry instructions, parking availability, and access to necessary areas. If access is blocked, delayed, or unsafe, we may reschedule the service or charge a service fee.

Safety & Limitations

For safety and compliance, Scrub Love does not perform:

Hazardous or unsafe work

Biohazard cleanup (blood, bodily fluids, mold remediation)

Pest or animal waste removal beyond light household presence

Hoarding, structural, or restoration work

Handling of illegal substances or unsafe chemicals

You agree to disclose any known hazards (broken fixtures, unstable surfaces, aggressive pets, etc.) prior to service.

Pets

Please secure pets during service. We are not responsible for pet escape, interference with cleaning, or pet-related hazards.

4) Pricing, Payment & Taxes

Estimates & Adjustments

Pricing may be adjusted if:

The property condition differs materially from what was described

Excessive buildup, debris, or clutter is present

Additional labor or time is required

Add-on services are requested onsite

Payments

A valid payment method may be required to reserve or complete service.

You authorize Scrub Love Cleaning Co. to charge for services rendered, add-ons, taxes, or outstanding balances.

Late or failed payments may result in service suspension or reasonable fees.

5) Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

Changes within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee to cover labor and scheduling costs.

If cleaners arrive and cannot access the property, a lock-out/no-access fee may apply.

6) Satisfaction Guarantee

If you believe part of the service was missed or completed incorrectly, notify us within 24 hours with photos or details. If appropriate, we will return to address the issue.

Re-services do not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Pre-existing damage

Permanent stains

Items outside the original scope

New messes occurring after service

7) Condition Limits & Exclusions

Scrub Love does not guarantee:

Complete removal of permanent stains, discoloration, rust, calcium, mold, or hard-water buildup

Restoration of damaged, aged, or poorly maintained surfaces

Results on fragile, cracked, or pre-damaged items

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

Pre-existing conditions

Improper installation or materials

Normal wear and tear

Heavy furniture, appliances, or items will not be moved unless explicitly agreed upon.

8) Damages & Claims

Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service, with photos and written details.

Our liability is limited to the lesser of:

The amount paid for the service in question, or

The reasonable cost of repair or replacement

We are not responsible for damage to hidden, unsecured, or fragile items not disclosed prior to service.

9) Photos, Reviews & Testimonials

With your permission, we may take before/after photos for quality control or marketing.
If you submit a review or testimonial, you grant Scrub Love Cleaning Co. a non-exclusive license to use it for promotional purposes.

10) SMS Program Terms (“Scrub Love Cleaning Co. SMS Alerts”)

Program Description

After opting in, you may receive SMS messages related to:

Quotes & estimates

Booking confirmations

Appointment reminders

Service follow-ups

Review requests

Occasional promotions

11) SMS Program Terms (“Scrub Love Cleaning Co. SMS Alerts”)

Program Description: After you opt in, you may receive messages related to your account and services, including quotes, booking confirmations, schedule updates, reminders, service follow-ups, review requests, and occasional promotions.

Cancel (Opt-Out): You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to our number. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
